Soon, many of us will be on an airplane heading to Las Vegas for Cisco Live 2022. So I felt that it might be good to put out some final information before we head out. Below you will find some info on the Cisco Events App, Health and Safety info, as well as NetVet reception updates.

Cisco recently updated its Cisco Events application for Cisco Live 2022, this is a must-have application for an attendee. This application is your go-to for everything CIsco Live, as you can see from the images below, it has all the relevant information you need – the Session Catalog, the All Sessions section has your Schedule for the sessions you have signed up for as well.

Cisco Live – waiting Everlong for CAE down in Africa

Wow – can you believe that in a few months we will be spending our days at Cisco Live learning from some of the best. We will be hanging with old friends while making new ones. We will be having some of the best lunches that have even been served at a conference! Most of all though – we’ll be partying with the Best of You all while we Take On Me.

Cisco Live 2015 – Announcements – I Don't Want to Miss a Thing

In case the above video has not given it away, the CAE band on Wednesday June 10th @ 7:30 at Petco Park for Cisco Live 2015 is none other than Aerosmith! We have had some great bands over the years (KISS, Lenny Kravitz, Imagine Dragons, OK GO, just to name a few) and I suspect that this year will be one of those memorable band years.
This also has me wondering if our hat will be one of these that Steve Tyler has worn in the past:
WOW! That is what I have to say about what Social Media has become at Cisco Live US. A few years ago – back in good ole 2011 – we started our “tweet up” at a paltry table in Las Vegas and nicknamed it “Tom’s Corner.” Why Tom’s Corner – because Tom (@networkingnerd) was always there it seemed like! It quickly became the place where all of us on Social Media would meet-up after sessions, between sessions, or just wanted to chill out.

Wow, Cisco Live 2014 is only a few months away – where has the time gone since last year’s Cisco Live!

So, in case you have not figured it out by the title and the picture, Cisco Live is in San Francisco, CA this year and being held at the Moscone Center. The last time Cisco Live was in San Francisco was 2009 for the 20th anniversary. I think that it is kind of fitting for it to be back there for its Silver Anniversary. So, what memories of Cisco Live 2009 do I have to share with you that will make Cisco Live 2014 great – let me think.

Well, the time for Cisco Live 2012 has come and it has gone. I have now been home a few days and have almost recovered, I said almost recovered. Cisco Live is a long week for anyone, there are endless after-hour “meetings” that occur with different vendors; there is the World of Solutions that you can spend endless time in collecting spiff and learning about vendor products; there is the John Chambers CCIE/CCDE NetVet reception and the CCIE Party, the CAE, etc etc etc. Add all that together and add in a 3 hour time zone difference (for me at least), and it takes a few days for the body and mind to recover. Tom, being his normal self, already has his post done at NetworkingNerd – guess that is what happens when you take a few days off! 🙂
Well, now it is time for a nice recap of the week and its associated events, as well as the highlights.

Cisco Live 2012 Photos

Well, Cisco Live 2012 is only a week away – and where has the time gone! Since we are now oh so close to the event, I figured I would post a quick – know before you go post.
First:
There will be no USB drive this year with the presentations on it (boo!), so you will need to download them now so you have them for the sessions. In order to download them, you need to go to log into your scheduler at https://www.ciscolive2012.com/scheduler/catalog.do and then select the PDF icon next to your scheduled sessions. (Circled in RED in the below pic)

My suggestion is to download them to a location like Dropbox (http://db.tt/zjuOs7o) so that you can access them from anywhere. I personally download them to Dropbox and then sync the dropbox to my iPad GoodReader application. Works like a charm! If you have not guessed, I do not carry a laptop during the event, an iPad is sufficient.
**Second:
** Leave some extra space in your luggage. Do not underestimate the potential for free stuff from some of the vendors. Normally you will get about a dozen shirts from the World of Solutions, pleny of swag there as well, probably a free hat at the Customer Appreciation Event, and you might even choose to bring home things for co-workers of family.
Leaving some extra room in your luggage now never hurts.
**Third:
